PROJECT & CHARTERING GmbH, established in April 2012 by Martin Birk Jensen, brings together close to 60 years of maritime expertise.

Our aim is to expand and keep our position as a premium provider of integrated logistic services and to stay the preferred broker for time charter requirements within the worldwide Breakbulk & Heavylift sector.

With an extensive global network at our disposal, we do not only create suitable shipping solutions for even the most complex cargoes but also forge the most lucrative and sustainable partnerships for our shipowners and operators; whether on Time Charter or Voyage Charter terms.

Our recipe for success lies in our knowledge to the market, the close and direct contact to all project and mpp Carriers around the world as well as the ability to find the best and most suitable solutions for all cargoes proposed to us.

Nestled in Buxtehude, near the busy port of Hamburg, we transcend traditional shipbroking, serving as both shipbrokers and providers of comprehensive logistic solutions within the maritime sphere. Our primary focus lies in the dynamic Breakbulk and Heavylift Market, yet our scope extends further to encompass technical engineering services such as stowage planning, Method Statements, and bespoke supercargo/surveyor support as needed. We have a vast experience in the S&P market as well as both short sea and deepsea bulk market which often create synergies to the project segment with a combination of both dry products and project cargoes.

We excel in crafting and fine-tuning Maritime Contracts and Booking Notes to precisely align with the unique requirements of each cargo and vessel, ensuring seamless operations and maximum efficiency.

Our expertise shines brightest in the realm of Multipurpose Tweendeck-Heavylift vessels, spanning from 3,000 to 35,000 tons deadweight, equipped with heavy gears capable of handling loads up to 2 x 1500mt, alongside our proficiency in facilitating RORO, bulk and Container shipments.
